MID-TERM UPDATE N0. 10
On behalf of the Proprietor, the Governing Board, Management, Staff and Students, I hereby express my sincere appreciation to you our esteemed parents for your unflinching support and continued patronage. God will continually shower His love and blessing on you.
SS.3 (YEAR 12 STUDENTS)
Mock Examinations for the year 12 students will commence on Monday 24th February 2020. Also the 2020 JAMB UTME will commence in a few weeks while WASSCE and NECOSSCE would also follow in quick succession. In order to ensure a resounding success, the Year 12 students will not go on mid-term break. They will stay back in school to enable teachers hold intensive classes with them during the break.
JS.3(BASIC 9 STUDENTS)
Cambridge Checkpoint Examinations will commence on 6th April 2020 and end on 8th April 2020 while the NECO BECE would be written between 27th April and 12th May 2020. To ensure that our students are well prepared for these examinations, the JS3 (Basic 9) students will write their Mock Examinations between 18th and 27th March and thereafter commence the extension classes.
LANGUAGES, CULTURAL/LITERARY DAY
The 2020 edition of this programme is scheduled to hold on Wednesday 11th March, 2020. Students are expected to bring along their cultural attires on resumption from mid-term break to make the day a colourful one. You are cordially invited. Parents are encouraged to bring along food/items representing different parts of our nation to showcase our rich cultural heritage.
The first entrance examination for the 2020/2021 academic session will hold on Saturday 14th March 2020 in the school complex. We look forward to welcoming promising students in the forthcoming academic session.
The 16th edition of the Nigerian International
Secondary Schools Model United Nations Conference will take place between 17th
and 21st October, 2020 at the International Conference Centre,
Abuja. The fee for participation is
Day students who wish to stay in the hostels for any reason must be registered with the Vice-Principal Day, Mr J.A. Oyedeji. A form has been designed for easy registration. Parents are advised to fill the form to ensure accurate records.
Parents should always inform the school officially if their children are treated for any ailment during the holidays. This will enable the school medical team continue to monitor the students` progress and ascertain which line of action to tow in the event of a reoccurrence or any other development.
We implore parents who have outstanding fee balances to please pay up the fees of their children. It is of utmost importance that fees are completed as the students return from the mid-term break to enable us meet with our various obligations as a school. We will appreciate your compliance in this regards.
