WELCOME BACK TO SCHOOLs

Seasons’ greetings to all our Valued Parents/Guardians,

On behalf of the Management and Staff of The Bells Creche, Nursery and Primary (Montessori) School, it is my pleasure to welcome you into the 1st Term 2024/25 Academic Session/Sport Term and also wish you and your family a happy new year.

The school is delighted to have your wards back in school as we are fully set for a progressive and successful term this year. Your involvements in all learning activities of your wards in the school will be of great value to the school.

You could also search our entire website at www.thebellsschools.org/primary for all running activities. Enclosed herewith is the calendar of events for the term’s updates.

LATENESS/ABSENTEEISM
All pupils are encouraged to be punctual with early attendance to the school this term. The school promises to invite parents whose wards are constantly late or absent from the school for a meeting against such practice. All pupils are encouraged to resume at 7.30am to attend the family circle (for preschoolers) and early morning work (for primary classes) before the normal class work activities commences at 8.30am. In a case where a child is ill or running late, the school office should be the first contact.

SPORT DAYS 
Please be informed that sport practice days to prepare pupils for the annual inter-house Spirts Competition for this term will be every Friday. Thus, pupils are to appear in their sport wears every Friday to enable them to improve on their athletics skills.

CLOSING TIME
The school’s closing time for this term is 2.30pm. This has been adjusted back to the usual working hours. Parents are encouraged to come early for their wards before 4pm and 6pm (for pupils in After school Club) to avoid payment of extra charges of Five Hundred Naira (N500).

USE OF HAIR BEADS
For health and safety purpose, the use of hair beads will no longer be allowed in the school. The medical advice/information gathered, had it that, the use of hair beads has caused so much havoc amongst children as it could be mistakenly swallowed or inserted into the ear, nose or other internal organs of the body. Thus, the school will not stand at risk by allowing our pupils' lives to be endangered.
